Joshua Chamberlain is a screenwriter, playwright, and filmmaker originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.
His feature script, ALL STATIONS DISTRESS, placed as a finalist in the 2023 ScreenCraft Stage Play competition and was featured as a BlackList Script of the Week in 2025. The stage adaptation has also been seen onstage at Rogue Machine Theatre and Pacific Resident Theatre.
His stage play, THE MEN WHO DREW THE UNIVERSE, is set to premier at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival in June.
Josh is also currently developing a TV series set in the 2000s emo scene and a young adult novel.
In addition to his writing pursuits, Josh has also directed several short films (WE ALL SAY GOD and LITTLE THINGS) which have been featured in various film festivals including the Malibu, Culver City, Marina Del Ray and Golden State Film Festivals, and music videos Louisville indie-darlings, Cowboy Preachers Club.
Josh lives in Los Angeles.
