ten things I learned in 2020

  1. “All shall be well, all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well…”
  2. There’s nothing wrong with me.
  3. I’m at my best when I’m calm, centered, and standing still.
  4. “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
  5. There are people more qualified, more capable, more powerful, and more influential than I am who are dealing with the world’s problems. I can only do what I can do.
  6. Know better, do better.
  7. We are not our thoughts, but our actions.
  8. There are parts of me reserved specifically for myself and for no one else.
  9. Keep the faith.
  10. “Fuck it…”
